MS Office 2007 has a great recovery tool, which is able to recover and repair corrupt MS Office Files like .Docx. ,Xlsx, .Pptx and other formats easily. But many a times it also fails.
In such a case, if you don’t find any solution to recover and repair your corrupt Office 2007 files, then you can submit them to saveofficedata.com, which might be able to recover the contents of your office file most of the times.
This is a freeware service, designed to work with corrupt Microsoft Office 2007 docx, xlsx, pptx, and Open Office odt, ods or odp files. It succeeds where the respective Microsoft Office 2007 or Open Office application fail to salvage the text/data.
Additionally, this service extracts and data from intact non-corrupt files. The service even extracts text from doc and rtf files but is unlikely to be successful with corrupt files for those extensions.
Three alternative results are returned for docx files, one for xlsx and three for pptx. One result is returned for odt, ods, odp, doc and rtf files. The alternative results are arrived at via different coding algorithms so they may produce different results.

I have recently lost slides on Powerpoint 2007. On loading, I receive an error message advising that there was an issue with corrupted text and that the slide would be replaced with a blank slide.
There was very little text in the file.
The warning advised that the slode could not be retrieved.
Is there a way to retrieve the slide?
Is there a way to know what to avoid the problem?
Thanks,
Jerry
