Can You Run Two Antivirus Software Programs on a Single Computer?
Antivirus Programs are like sniffer dogs on the prowl. They keep on looking for suspicious activities and take appropriate actions as and when find anything wrong. They generally are memory resident and provide you real time protection based upon their effectiveness and efficiency.
But many of the antivirus programs clash with the functioning of other antivirus programs. Although you may not find it written in explicit terms, but many people advise you to not use two antivirus programs simultaneously on a single computer. If you want a double protection, just disable one and use the other other.

Threatfire detected iobit 360 as acting like a rootkit or worm; trying to run itself as an exe while representing itself as pif file type.
Iobit is stealing Malwarebytes’ detections. ThreatFire does have a good reason to detect this scamware as a threat.
You can see more complaints from MBAM forums, avast! webforum, SuperAntiSpyware Forums, MyWOT Forum and SiteAdvisor.
Security 360 is one of best tools of this kind, u guys r talkin bullshit, so better shut up
to c++_newbie well you got your screen name correct with the kind of pitiable language with your synoptic roughshod use of babble. Bottom line here so you understand, this is the worst program I have ever used and is deleted from my system. And nobody likes threats PUNK
To C++_newbie. First of all the negative talk about Iobit 360 is very true. In our tests it missed 226 malware samples out of 350. Very poor. You are just a misinformed boy who can not spell or put together words very well. Go to BRIGHT HUB web site and check out their evaluation of the product. That is if you know how to get there little boy. Try some Super Glue on your lips little boy.
IObit 360 is simple to use, is fast but does not have good real-time protection. All up, a few good tools based on ideas that were once original and VERY average program design/ features/ etc. Other’s ideas which have already turned into software, some so old that it is outdated today.
“Finds the Deepest Infections: Using DOG (Digital Original Gene), a novel heuristic malware detection method, IObit Security 360 can find the most complex threats.”
Hmm… no, and yes.
No? -> DOG = SHIT
wait, lemme try again without swearing: DOG= Dirty Old Grandma, at least when it comes to its abilities as a “novel heuristic malware detection method”
(no offence to any grandmas reading this)
Yes?-> It has a complex database of new/ known threats due to its efforts finding zero-day threats and also stealing other popular software company’s virus databases.
“Mostly” stealing other company’s virus databases. *understatement*
Use it, but I’m not recommending it at all. Those claims that it steals other company’s database records are true and so are many various other claims that have been made, but not all of them.
“Threatfire detected iobit 360 as acting like a rootkit or worm; trying to run itself as an exe while representing itself as pif file type.” – Harry, I’m not sure about that one, but I say we can agree that IObit isn’t a very trustworthy or genuine vendor of antivirus software, that’s for sure. No “C++_newbie”, you’re not included in “we”. Go on – take IObit with you and your computer and your newbie C++ skills and go somewhere else (where your opinion isn’t as unappreciated.) To put it short and simple, your opinion’s outnumbered here.
Hey, IObit 360 can run with any antivirus at the same time. Should I use it? You can if you want, but it’s like running a two dollar shop with nothing under $2. Defeats the purpose, though to IObit’s credit, it isn’t all THAT bad. Software works alright, not many bugs, good update system and isn’t malicious. No “doom and gloom” as some rogue alternatives out there, hey C++_newbie?
